We’ll schedule a time for a quick discussion to see whether or not we are a good fit to achieve your objectives. Once we agree on objectives for the trip we’ll help you share information about the trip with students and parents. We will continue to support you through every element of planning the trip including scheduling, budgeting, student applications, and fundraising.

Who We Host
Better Lives hosts groups of high school and college students because we believe there are mutual benefits for visiting students and the families they visit. Visiting students help families as they work to create a positive change in their lives and community. Local families share their skills, culture, and knowledge with visiting students. These interactions depend on enjoyable communication and effective collaboration. Therefore, we are looking for students who are:
Responsible
Group travel and project work are team activities. Each member of the team must be disciplined and organized so they can be responsible for their obligations and actions. Responsible students have the basic traits necessary to develop global citizenship.
Helpful
We want to develop the leaders of tomorrow. Helpfulness is one of Better Lives’ values and is a trait leaders must exhibit to achieve success. Helpful students enable groups to achieve success in their service, education, and discovery experiences.
Curious
Encouraging creativity can be one of the greatest benefits of travel. We can only develop our creativity by being curious and open-minded when confronted with new people, places, and ideas.
