Battambang, KH – RM uses savings to improve cow shed – 19 Feb 2016

RM used his biannual savings from the Healthy Life Garden Shop to improve his cow shed.

He is quickly becoming known in his neighborhood as a skilled herdsman. In fact, two of his neighbors pay RM to look after their own cows. He used his savings to concrete the floor of his cow shed so it is easier to clean and will not get muddy in the rainy season.

RM intends to sell his cows before the Khmer New year (April) and expects to earn US$2,000 for both of his cows!

Because he lives alone, his living expenses are low, so all profits will go back into keeping livestock, with the remainder going towards his grandchildren’s educations.
