Moshi, TZ – Kisangasangeni School Garden – 29 March 2013

The combination of heavy rain and blistering sun can have a devastating effect on young seedlings, so it is important to build shade for them.  The students at Kisangasangeni Primary very much enjoyed building the shade for their young plants!  They also added compost to the beds to keep the soil rich with plant food.

Most students are very eager to learn about gardening because most of them will be involved in the agriculture sector when they grow up.
